Five Friends Drown in Telangana Car Mishap, Brothers Fatally Struck by Train in Delhi
Driving under the influence of alcohol can be very fatal as happened recently in Telangana's Bhongir, where a car went out of control and crashed into a lake. It killed five people and injured one seriously. Police believe that the driver was intoxicated when the accident happened. Recently, two brothers, heavily under the influence, were run over by a train in Delhi.
Car Heading to Hyderabad
The occupants of the car are reportedly from Hyderabad. It is said that they were leaving their home at a late night and were, reportedly drunk. Early this morning, on their return journey, the car crossed the road and met head-on with the lake, where five of them had drowned.
The dead bodies have been identified as Vamsi, aged 23; Dignesh, 21; Harsh, 21; Balu, 19; and Vinay, 21.
Driver Loses Control
The police reported that, upon receiving news of the accident, they went to the scene where they took away the bodies and the car. According to preliminary investigations, it appears the car was being driven at a high speed when the driver lost control and drove off the road into the lake. There were five passengers who were pronounced dead on the scene, and one is reported to be in critical condition.
Two Brothers Hit by Train in Delhi
A similar tragic incident happened in the capital, Delhi. Two brothers allegedly were drinking near the railway tracks close to a station. Being drunk, they could not respond in time when a train approached them. They tried to run, but could not evade the incoming locomotive. One brother lost his life in the accident, and the other is now hospitalized, struggling for survival.
