Former Indian Cricketer Vinod Kambli Hospitalized; Health Condition Critical
Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli was admitted to Aakruti Hospital in Thane late on Saturday, 21 December. His health condition suddenly turned worse, and doctors are now closely observing his condition along with the necessary tests. At present, his health is still critical.

Cricketing Journey
Vinod Kambli debuted in One Day Internationals for India in 1991 and in Test matches in 1993. Vinod Kambli started off on the international cricket field with a blast as he was the quickest Indian to achieve the milestone of 1,000 Test runs; it took him only 14 innings. His initial promise went on to decline slowly.
Career Milestones
Test Cricket: Played in 17 matches, with a total score of 1,084 runs. There were four centuries and three half-centuries in these matches.
ODI Cricket: He played in 104 matches, scoring 2,477 runs, with two centuries and 14 half-centuries.
Kambli played his last ODI for India against Sri Lanka in 2000 before being dropped due to inconsistent performances.
