Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh — An out-of-control Honda Amaze car collided with an e-rickshaw on Ambedkar Road late last night, causing a tragic accident that resulted in the deaths of two individuals.

The incident occurred in front of the Haldiram restaurant when the car, moving recklessly, crashed into the e-rickshaw from behind with immense force. The impact was so severe that the e-rickshaw was left severely damaged, wedged between electric poles and the restaurant's signboard. The e-rickshaw driver, Rinku, and the passenger, Saksham, both residents of Nehru Nagar, died at the scene.

In addition, a motorcyclist identified as Sonu, who was passing by at the time, was struck by the out-of-control vehicle. Sonu sustained serious injuries and was initially taken to the district MMG Hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, doctors referred him to GTB Hospital in Delhi for further treatment.

The local police responded promptly to the scene and are currently investigating the incident. Efforts are underway to locate the driver of the Honda Amaze, who fled the scene after the crash.

The tragic accident highlights the urgent need for improved road safety measures in the area to prevent such devastating occurrences in the future.
