Ghaziabad Police File Case Against Dasna Temple Mahant Narsinghanand for Religious Insult via Website

Ghaziabad Cyber Police have registered a case against Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, Mahamandaleshwar of the Juna Akhada and Mahant of Dasna Temple, who allegedly published content insulting other religions on a website named "World Religious Convention."

Sub-Inspector Dhruv Narayan, from Cyber Police Station, lodged the case. The police are scrutinizing posts and videos uploaded on the website that is alleged to have hurt the religious sentiments.

Controversies over Yati Narsinghanand

The website has allegedly been linked to Narsinghanand, who had recently made controversy by stating plans to organize a "Dharma Sansad" in Ghaziabad. He had planned this event but had been refused permission. A similar event scheduled for Haridwar had been stopped when it lacked an authorization from the state authorities, thus leading to the fight in court that finally ended up at the Supreme Court.
