Gorkhapur Man Commits Suicide on Video Call with Girlfriend

In Gorkhapur, a man took his own life during a video call with his girlfriend. The incident occurred late Tuesday night near the Saraiya petrol pump in the Gulriha area. The man, identified as Akhilesh Sharma, also known as Chotu, was 28 years old.
Reports indicate that Sharma shot himself in the temple with a pistol while speaking with his girlfriend over video chat. The motive behind his drastic action has not yet been determined. Sharma’s girlfriend had previously been married three times and had made Sharma her fourth husband.
Sharma had been residing at his maternal uncle’s house near Khajanchi Chauraha in the Shahpur area since childhood. He is survived by two daughters. The entire tragic event unfolded online, leaving many questions unanswered.
