The incident took place in the Nai Basti locality of Dankaur, police sources said. The family German Shepherd dog growled at a passing kid, and the kid fell and ran home crying. The child's father, infuriated, is said to have come back with a stick, brutally assaulted the dog, tied it to his SUV with a rope, and dragged it almost 3 kilometers all the way to the Sports City locality.
The dog was severely injured and was taken straight to a nearby veterinary hospital for treatment.
Owner Seeks Justice, Claims Threats
