Hardoi accident: tempo turns over, 10 killed, 5 injured, CM Yogi condoles the deaths

A tragic road accident reported in the Bilgram area of Hardoi district due to a tempo overturn near Roshanpur of Bilhaur-Katra State Highway. Ten were dead, and five wounded after the tempo suddenly went into a DCM truck. The tempo, while carrying passengers, lost balance at the appearance of truck and overturned. Police visited the spot for rescue works.

Among the dead are five women, two girls of tender age, one child, and two males. Of the victims, seven died on the spot. Another three died at Bilgram Community Health Center where injured and the dead were rushed for treatment and identification purposes. Senior police officers from district headquarters have been deployed to oversee the rescue and relief efforts. Incidentally, the DCM driver and assistant disappeared on the same day of the accident.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has condoled the death and asked authorities to treat the injured urgently. He has directed district officials to extend full assistance and cooperation to the families concerned and has taken a grave note of the incident seriously. Police are working with an attempt to identify those who lost their lives and comfort the agonized families of this sad phase.
