Haryana: Major Accident in Hisar as Brick Kiln Wall Collapses, 4 Children Dead, 4 Injured

A tragic incident took place in Hisar, Haryana, late on Sunday night when a wall at a brick kiln in Narnaund collapsed, killing four children and injuring four others. The children, all belonging to laborer families working at the kiln, were sleeping near the wall that suddenly gave way.

Details of the Incident

It so collapsed on the wall near the bakery for bricks that at the time had about 20 laborers and other children in the area. Four children, among whom was a three-month infant, were confirmed dead with some rescued from the debris.

Victims Identified

The deceased have been identified as Nisha (3 months), Nandini (5 years), Suraj (9 years), and Vivek (9 years). Another child, Gauri (5 years), is critically injured and is being treated at Hisar Civil Hospital.

Labourers from Uttar Pradesh

All the affected laborers are from Ambedkar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh and are working at Sonu Brick Kiln in Budana village, Narnaund. They were engaged in the activities of brick laying and kiln maintenance when the incident occurred around midnight.
