In a shocking incident in Nuh district, Haryana, a woman was shot dead by masked assailants after she resisted their attempt to molest her. The brutal crime occurred in Hajipur Gauheta village on Monday evening, while the woman and her husband were working in their field.
Masked Men Robbed the Husband Before Attacking the Woman
According to the husband of the victim, four masked men entered the fields where they were working. The attackers overpowered him, assaulted him, and stole ₹3,000 along with his mobile phone.
After robbing the husband, the assailants turned their attention to his wife, demanding she remove her jewelry. However, since she wasn't wearing any, the attackers attempted to molest her instead.
Shot in the Head for Resisting Assault
When she raised an alarm, they shot her in the head, and she died immediately.
Bichhor police station SHO Jagbir Singh confirmed that the victim was a mother of four young children. The police are aggressively investigating all aspects of the case, and a manhunt has been underway to apprehend the accused.

Authorities have promised the perpetrators will be arrested shortly, and the case is being treated with urgency. The incident has caused public outrage by raising further worries among people about the security of women in rural Haryana.
