A 14-year-old boy, Aditya Sharma, died at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital after serious health issues. Aditya used to study in 9th standard in which 56 foreign objects were found inside his stomach, including watch batteries and blades. None of the sharp objects hurt his throat; doctors were shocked by this incident.

According to Sanchet Sharma, Aditya's father, all this began on October 13 when Aditya complained of stomach pain and difficulty in breathing. He was treated at a local hospital first and then shifted to SMS Hospital in Jaipur. He was discharged after five days of treatment, but his breathing problem started building up once again. He was taken to a private hospital in Aligarh, where tests came back normal and asked him to go home. On October 25, doctors conducted a CT scan that revealed a nasal growth, which was removed through surgery on October 26, relieving his breathing issues. However, Aditya then developed severe gas pain in his stomach. An ultrasound at a private center later that day revealed 19 foreign objects in his stomach. Referred to a hospital in Noida, another ultrasound shockingly showed 56 objects, leading doctors to transfer him to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.

His doctors operated and took out 56 objects from his abdomen. Sadly, Aditya's condition worsened, and he died the following day, on 28 October. His doctor said that his heart rate at 280 BPM was shockingly high; the normal beat rate ranges between 60-100 BPM. Aditya's death shocked his family and medical attendants who were not privy to such a situation.
