A tragic accident occurred in Sonbarsa Bazaar in Gorakhpur late Sunday evening when a high-tension electrical line fell on a moving bike. The live wire ignited the bike, killing a 24-year-old man and two children, aged 9 and 2, on the spot.

It was in the AIIMS police station area that the bike caught fire upon contact with the high-tension line. The man and two young girls, riding pillion, succumbed to burn injuries before help could arrive.
Public Outrage
