Husband Gives Triple Talaq, Throws Wife Out for Refusing to Sleep with His Boss

In a shocking incident in Kalyan, Maharashtra, a 45-year-old husband allegedly pressured his 28-year-old wife to have sexual relations with his boss. He claimed he needed INR 15 lakh to finalize a divorce from his first wife and demanded that his new wife either bring the money from her parents or agree to spend the night with his boss.

In a shocking incident in Maharashtra's Kalyan area, a 45-year-old man allegedly forced his 28-year-old wife to sleep with his boss. When she refused, he verbally abused and physically assaulted her, eventually pronouncing triple talaq and expelling her from their home. The case came to light after the woman lodged a complaint with the police, who have since registered an FIR against both the husband and his boss.

Demand of INR 15 Lakh

The husband, as per the complaint, demanded that he required INR 15 lakh to settle the divorce with his first wife. He threatened his second wife, whom he had married in January 2024, to arrange for this amount from her parents. She was unable to oblige him. He then threatened to make her spend the night with his boss unless she arranged for the money.

Incident at a Party

The wife further disclosed that he took her to a party and asked her to "oblige" his boss. Even after her constant refusals, the husband insisted and began to abuse her. She said that a few days after their marriage, he started harassing her for money; his threats and violence increased as she could not meet his demands.

Police Action

The woman's complaint led to charges under:

IPC Sections 115(2), 351(2), 351(3), and 352
The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019

These were lodged at Sambhaji Nagar Police Station on December 19 and later was shifted to the Bazarpeth Police Station in Kalyan. The convicted husband is a software engineer while his employer is also being summoned as a witness for charges made against them.
