An MiG-21 fighter jet of Indian Air Force (IAF)crashed in Punjab late on Thursday. A pilot of the IAF died in the crash.
The jet crash took place at Langeana village of Moga district in Punjab. The IAF fighter jet was on its way back to Suratgarh after routine training at the time of the accident.
As per the senior air force officials, who were part of the search operation took the pilot’s body to Halwara Air Force station for a post-mortem.
Moreover, the deceased pilot has been identified as Squadron Leader Abhinav Choudhary, as per reports.
The Indian Air Force has also tweeted about the crash. And a court of inquiry has also been ordered to ascertain the cause of accident.
