IAS officers from the 2000 batch, including Saurabh Babu, Manish Chauhan, Ranjan Kumar, Anurag Yadav, Ranveer Prasad, Amit Gupta, and Deepak Agrawal, were promoted to the rank of Principal Secretary.
38 IAS Officers Elevated to Secretary Level
Officers such as Surya Pal Gangwar, District Magistrate of Lucknow, and Rakesh Kumar Singh, District Magistrate of Kanpur Nagar, were promoted from District Magistrate (Special Secretary) to Secretary Level.
Selection Grade for 50 IAS Officers
IAS officers from the 2010, 2011, and 2012 batches were granted Selection Grade, marking another milestone in their careers.
Administrative Reshuffle on the Horizon
With these promotions, a significant reshuffle is expected in the state’s bureaucracy:
District Magistrates in Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, and about a dozen other districts are likely to be replaced.
Changes in the roles of Principal Secretaries in several departments are also anticipated.
The reshuffle is expected to take place by the end of January.
