India records 58,419 new COVID-19 cases, lowest Since March 30

India’s daily COVID-19 case count declined to 58,419 on June 20, 2021. It is the lowest number of new COVID-19 cases found in the last 81 days. Now, India has 2.98 crore total cases of COVID-19.

According to the Union health ministry, as many as 1,576 patients died of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours while 386, 713 recovered from the disease. Now, the total recoveries stand at 28,766,009 while the death toll is 386,713.

The total number of active COVID-19 cases has also dropped to 729,243, which is 2.55 percent of the total COVID-19 case count.

On Saturday, 60,753 people were found infected with the disease while 1,647 patients succumbed to the viral disease. T

The cumulative testing figure now stands at 391,019,083. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 1,811,446 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
