Rajnath Says India Was Undeterred By Pakistan’s Nuclear Arsenal During The Recent Military Standoff

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday raised concerns about the safety of nuclear weapons in Pakistan’s hands and urged the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to take charge of them.
Accusing Islamabad of nuclear blackmail against our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajnath also criticized the IAEA’s role, expressing frustration and a sense of ignorance.
He said India was undeterred by Pakistan's nuclear arsenal during the recent military standoff. He stated that the world has seen how irresponsible Islamabad can be.
Rajnath's message to the world:
"I raise this question before the world: Are nuclear weapons safe in the hands of such an irresponsible and rogue nation? Pakistan’s nuclear weapons should be taken under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency,” he said.
Pakistan condemned the statement and asked the IAEA and international community to take note of the repeated theft and illicit trafficking incidents involving nuclear and radioactive material in India.
Pakistan asserted that it is adequately capable of deterring India, without resorting to self-imposed nuclear blackmail.
Our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently stated that India would no longer tolerate any form of "nuclear blackmail" by Pakistan.
