Kanpur Shocker: Youth Jailed After Protesting Molestation of Friend
A disturbing case has emerged from Baradevi area of Kanpur where a young lady has accused the police of fabricating evidence against her friend after he attempted to prevent two men from allegedly molesting her inside a local hotel.
Based on the complaint filed by the victim, the matter occurred at Farrukhabadi Hotel in Baradevi. She claims two unknown men harassed her at the location. When her friend Vijay Tiwari came forward to defend her, the accused persons presented themselves as policemen and threatened to frame him in a false criminal case, she claimed.
The situation turned grim when the woman came to the police station to file a complaint. She asserts that rather than acting against the harassers, the police filed a false FIR against Vijay Tiwari and sent him to prison.
Addressing the media, the victim stated, "The men intimidated us and informed us that they were from the police. When I approached to report the incident, the police arrested Vijay and took him to jail without conducting any proper investigation."

The family of Vijay Tiwari has also been outraged over the incident and demanded a fair investigation and abuse of power by local authorities.
The event has raised issues of public concern regarding the management of such critical cases and raised questions about the abuse of powers and making false suggestions by persons pretending to be police officers.
Local government authorities have not yet come out with a formal statement on the allegations.
