Kargil Vijay Diwas 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Pays Tribute to Kargil War Heroes
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited the Kargil War Memorial to pay homage to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the 1999 conflict. A video of the visit shows PM Modi with folded hands, walking towards the War Memorial, accompanied by military officers. He is seen laying a wreath to honor the fallen soldiers and then moving forward with the officials who brief him about the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in defense of the nation.

On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Prime Minister Modi commemorated the soldiers who lost their lives in the 1999 war. Photos from the event show the Prime Minister dressed in a black suit, wearing sunglasses, and solemnly paying his respects.
