In a shocking turn of events in Karnataka's Vijayanagar district, a KSRTC bus flipped over, resulting in one woman's tragic death and over 20 passengers injured. Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Mangaluru, a pickup truck collided with an auto rickshaw full of schoolchildren, leading to the unfortunate death of a young student.

Bus Mishap: A Rollercoaster of Tragedy

On October 24, chaos unfolded near the village of Sathur in the Harappanahalli taluk when the bus driver lost control. The unfortunate victim, Hanumakka (45) from the village of Suttur, was pronounced dead at the scene. The bus was reportedly traveling from Davanagere to Harappanahalli when disaster struck.

Among the more than 20 injured passengers, one is in critical condition. Medical teams rushed to provide treatment at the Davanagere District Hospital, where many of the injured are receiving care.

School Mishap: A Heartbreaking Loss

In another incident, tragedy struck in Mangaluru when a pickup truck slammed into an auto rickshaw filled with school children near Kallapade in Belma village. The victim, Ayesha Wahiba (10), was a student at Deralakotte Government School and the daughter of a local couple. The auto was reportedly coming from the Madaka side when the collision occurred.

While Ayesha tragically lost her life, four other students suffered minor injuries and were taken to K.S. Hegde Hospital for treatment. A case has been filed at the Mangaluru South Traffic Police Station, shedding light on the grim realities of road safety.

Bike and Mini Truck Collision: Double Tragedy

In yet another grim update from Vijayapura, two young men lost their lives in a collision between a motorcycle and a mini truck near Bhutanala Tanda. The victims, Anil Rupsing Chavhan (35) and Shivaji Chavhan (40), were reportedly on their way to work when they were struck while overtaking the mini truck.

As news of their deaths spread, grief enveloped their families, and the local community mourns the loss. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Adarsha Nagar Police Station.
