Madhubani: Betrayed Husband Beaten and Tied to Pole After Wife Marries Brother-in-Law

Madhubani – A disturbing incident from Ekhattha village in the Khutauna police station area has surfaced, where a man named Aftab was tied to a pole and beaten by locals. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
Aftab, the victim, recounted that he married Yasmeen in 2014. Shortly after their marriage, he went to Dubai for work, regularly sending his earnings back to his wife. Unbeknownst to him, Yasmeen was having an affair with her cousin, Dilshad. Using Aftab's money, she continued the relationship and eventually married Dilshad.
Upon discovering this betrayal, Aftab returned to Ekhattha village. He was shocked to learn that Yasmeen had moved in with Dilshad. In a fit of rage, Aftab confronted the local Qazi and others, leading to a heated argument.
The next day, Aftab was lured into a trap, attacked by about ten men, tied to a pole, and beaten severely. They then handed him over to the Khutauna police. Due to the severity of his injuries, Aftab was hospitalized. His family rushed to the hospital where doctors provided initial treatment before referring him to Madhubani Sadar Hospital.
Aftab and his family are now seeking justice, alleging that the accused are openly threatening them and that the Khutauna police have taken no action. Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar stated that an investigation is underway, and those found guilty will face consequences.
The incident has raised concerns about law enforcement's response and the safety of the victim and his family.
