Maha Kumbh 2025: Six Colored E-Passes Introduced, Know Categories, Quotas, and Application Process

Maha Kumbh 2025: Six-colored e-passes have been rolled out by the Uttar Pradesh government to ensure the safety and convenience of devotees for the Maha Kumbh 2025 event in Prayagraj. These passes have been categorized on the directions of CM Yogi Adityanath to facilitate crowd control measures and enhance security. Special preparations are also in place for foreign pilgrims as well as visitors coming from other states.

E-Pass Categories

White: For VIPs, foreign diplomats, international citizens, NRIs, and central/state government departments.

Saffron: For religious akharas and institutions.

Blue: For police personnel.

Sky Blue: For media representatives.

Red: For emergency and essential services.

Application Procedure

The applicant will have to submit personal details along with self-attested copies of Aadhaar, PAN card, passport-size photo, vehicle registration certificate, and driving license. These documents will be submitted to temporary fair police offices via representatives from UPDESCO-approved organizations.

Security Arrangements for Devotees

All sectors are implementing comprehensive security and crowd management measures. Parking zones have been designated, and vehicle passes are being assigned category-wise. Each department will have nodal officers for the approval of vehicle passes and arrangements to ensure hassle-free experiences for devotees.
