Delhi: Mahesh Khinchi's First Visit as Mayor to Vasant Vihar, Accompanied by Deputy Mayor, MLA, and Councilors, Inspects Cleanliness Efforts

Delhi: It was for the first time that the newly elected Mayor, Mahesh Khinchi, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Ravinder Bhardwaj, local MLA Pramila Tokas and Councillor Himani Jain visited Vasant Vihar today on Saturday. Khinchi and Bhardwaj viewed closeness in each cleanliness arrangement in the area and provided needed directions for improvement.
Khinch said there was quite a variance in the maintenance of cleanliness in different parts of Delhi; thus, as much as possible improvement should be done so that no one will face any kind of problem. Deputy Mayor Bhardwaj saluted the working sanitation workers and reminded Municipal Corporation that cleaning services must further improve in all sectors.
During the visit, officials of MCD, and sanitation staff were also present, and the Mayor assured that the corporation is continuously working towards making the city cleaner for a safer and cleaner environment for the citizens. Regarding pollution, Khinchi said that the Delhi government along with MCD were taking steps to solve the problem of pollution.
