There were chilling incidents of killing four family members in Kurukshetra district of Haryana. A judge's reader, Naib Singh; his wife Imrit Kaur; his son, Dushyant; and son-in-law, Amrit Kaur were the four killed at different times. There is news coming regarding a 13-year old grandson, Keshav, who survived with serious injury.
The crime scene showed a gruesome picture as the bodies of the couple were found on the ground floor and Dushyant and Amrit on the upper floor. Keshav was found unconscious, covered with blood, near the bed. Police broke into the house after neighbors raised an alarm suspecting foul play due to the family's unusual absence.
No weapons were reported to be found by the Shahabad SHO Satish Kumar, but the forensic experts had collected the evidence, while the CCTV footage from the surrounding area was analyzed. So far, preliminary reports state that the throats of Naib Singh and his wife have been slit, but in other bodies, no clear cause of death was ascertained.
There has been no confirmation of hatred or animosity between the members of this family, though police have several angles open, from murder to murder-suicide. The postmortem will confirm the exact cause of death. Security cameras and forensic evidence would also give crucial leads in cracking the case.
