Meerut SSP Dr. Vipin Tada Continues Reshuffle in Police Department to Curb Crime and Corruption

In an ongoing effort to tighten the reins on crime and corruption, Meerut SSP Dr. Vipin Tada has continued his reshuffle within the police department. Late Sunday night, the SSP ordered a significant change in the postings of 11 police station in-charges, reflecting his commitment to enhancing law enforcement in the district.

Meerut: In an ongoing effort to tighten the reins on crime and corruption, Meerut SSP Dr. Vipin Tada has continued his reshuffle within the police department. Late Sunday night, the SSP ordered a significant change in the postings of 11 police station in-charges, reflecting his commitment to enhancing law enforcement in the district.

Dr. Tada has been actively transferring officers stationed in police stations and outposts across Meerut. To date, several police personnel have been placed on reserve duty or suspended as part of the SSP’s measures to ensure accountability and efficiency. The latest reshuffle saw 11 station in-charges reassigned to new postings.

In the recent transfers, Inspector Subhash Gautam, previously in charge of the Kanwar Cell, has been appointed as the Station House Officer (SHO) of Partapur. Inspector Ilam Singh, formerly in charge of the Crime Branch at Railway Road Police Station, has been reassigned as SHO of Nauchandi Police Station. Inspector Mahavir Singh, who was heading the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), has been entrusted with the important Civil Lines Police Station. Inspector Santosh Kumar, previously SHO of Bahsuma, has taken charge of the Lal Kurti Police Station, while Inspector Indu Kumari has moved from Lal Kurti to Bahsuma.

Other key transfers include SSI Dinesh Pratap from TP Nagar to SHO of Parikshitgarh, Ajay Shukla from Samar Garden Outpost of Lisadi Gate Police Station to SHO of Sarurpur, and Akhilesh Kumar Gaur from SHO of Sarurpur to AHTU. Additionally, Jaykaran Singh, formerly of Partapur Police Station, has been transferred to the Crime Investigation Branch. Mahesh Rathore, who was heading Nauchandi Police Station, has been assigned to the Monitoring Cell at Police Headquarters, and Vijay Bahadur Singh, former SHO of Parikshitgarh, has also been moved to the Crime Investigation Branch.

In another move, Sunil Kumar, the SHO of Kithore, and Sanjay Dwivedi, the SHO of Bhawanpur, have been placed on reserve duty.

These strategic transfers are part of SSP Dr. Vipin Tada’s broader initiative to optimize police operations across Meerut, aiming to improve public safety and uphold the integrity of the police force.
