The incidence was reported when Himanshu Gangwar, a Bhudiya village resident under Katra area, uploaded a video on Instagram while trying to end his life by consuming drugs. Since Meta traced the video, it alerted the Shahjahanpur police about the whereabouts of the young man.
When the alert was received, the police responded promptly and reached the place within 12 minutes. They were able to rescue him in time and took him to the community health center, where they also assisted in the treatment and counseling of the young man.
