A luxury car, Lamborghini, got into a fire on Coastal Road in Mumbai on Wednesday night. The flames engulfed the vehicle as it was plying. Business tycoon Gautam Singhania, car enthusiast, caught and disseminated the video of incident over his social media stating concerns over safety standards that must be implemented. Fortunately, no reported injury occurred.
Fire taken 45 minutes to extinge
The fire erupted at about 10:20 PM. The officials of the Mumbai Fire Brigade immediately dispatched a team to the site and controlled the blaze after 45 minutes of efforts. Witnesses reported seeing an orange Lamborghini engulfed in flames with bystanders who initially tried to put out the fire in vain.

Gautam Singhania uploaded the video on his X (formerly Twitter) account, tagging Mumbai Police and highlighting the safety implications. The clip showed flames originating from the car’s cabin, with the vehicle bearing Gujarat registration plates. In his caption, Singhania remarked, “I saw a Lamborghini in flames on Mumbai’s Coastal Road. This raises serious questions about Lamborghini’s reliability and safety standards.”
