Tragic Discovery: Mumtaz Ali's Body Found After 28-Hour Search, Sparks Controversy Over Alleged Blackmail Tactics in the Shadows of Political Family Drama

Mangalore, October 7: In a heart-wrenching turn of events, the body of Mumtaz Ali, brother of former MLA Moyideen Bava, has been found after a relentless 28-hour search operation. The grim discovery was made near the bridge at Kuloor, leaving the community in shock and mourning.

Mumtaz was reported missing after his BMW X5, with registration number KA19 MG0004, was found abandoned on the Kuloor bridge, raising suspicions that he may have jumped into the Phalguni River. Expert divers, led by Ishwar Malpe, conducted extensive underwater searches, and finally located Mumtaz's body, bringing a tragic closure to the family’s desperate search. Upon seeing his brother's remains, an emotional Moyideen Bava couldn't hold back his tears.

The backstory reveals that Mumtaz Ali, a well-known figure linked to political circles as the brother of Congress leader Moyideen Bava and former MLC B.M. Farooq, had been missing since early Sunday morning. Sources indicate that Mumtaz may have faced pressures from a woman residing in Surathkal Krishnapur, who had allegedly been blackmailing him for over a year with personal videos, demanding marriage. This troubling dynamic reportedly led to escalating tensions within the family, raising eyebrows and concerns about his mental state.

Additionally, local youth from Kottipalli were allegedly conspiring with this woman to tarnish Mumtaz's reputation, further compounding the stress he faced. Amidst these allegations and pressures, it’s believed that he may have taken his own life, prompting local authorities to file an FIR against six individuals in connection with the case.
