In an unexpected twist of pomp and tradition, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar are being honored with stunning Panchaloha sculptures at Mysuru Dasara 2024! As they arrived in Mysuru today to participate in the grand Jamboo Savari and Panjina Kavayathu (torchlight parade), these iconic leaders received more than just a warm welcome—they were presented with specially crafted bronze idols.
Set against the backdrop of the grand Vijayadashami celebrations (October 12), both CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar participated in rituals at the historic Nandi Dhwaja Sthamba. Following this sacred ceremony, the district administration gifted them two beautiful Panchaloha statues: the CM received an idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari, the revered deity of Mysuru, while the Deputy CM was honored with a sculpture of Kad Siddheshwara.
These magnificent figures were meticulously crafted by Mysuru artisan Rajesh in just a week, adding a special cultural touch to the ongoing festivities.
Stay tuned to watch the exclusive video and catch the CM and Deputy CM in action as they soak in the grandeur of Mysuru’s iconic celebrations!
