Nikita vs Atul Case: Who is Rohit Nigam? The Man Behind the Rift in Their Relationship

The investigation into the AI software engineer Atul Subhash's suicide has revealed new details about his troubled relationship with his wife, Nikita. A document from the Jaunpur Family Court shows mutual accusations that led to their marital discord. Nikita alleged against Atul for dowry harassment, physical harassment, and having affairs with other women. Atul on the other hand accused Nikita of having an affair with a man called Rohit Nigam. It was one of the biggest issues in their relationship.

Nikita's Accusations

Nikita stated that Atul and his family asked for ₹10 lakh as dowry even when she and her parents had given them ₹5 lakh in cash and had spent ₹35 lakh on the marriage. She further stated that Atul physically assaulted her even in front of her mother and used money lavishly on his relationships, which she believes is responsible for her father's heart attack.

Counterclaims by Atul

Atul alleged that the allegations were just a result of Nikita unwillingness to adjust her and his lifestyle. He made an accusation against Nikita that she was dating some other guy named Rohit Nigam and caused many arguments in the relations. He further said that allegation of being involved with girl named Rinki is unfounded because Rinki belonged to his friend wife not as his girlfriend.

The Suicide Case

Atul's tragic suicide, along with a video and a 24-page note, accused Nikita and her family of harassment. At present, Nikita and her family are absconding. Police are investigating the case, but the full truth will only emerge once Nikita is in custody.
