Noida Blaze Kills Three Girls, Father Seriously Injured

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a tragic fire at a residence in Sector 8, Noida, resulted in the death of three young sisters and left their father in critical condition. The incident occurred while the five family members were sleeping in a small 10 by 7 feet room, which contained a cooler, refrigerator, TV, and an e-rickshaw battery, according to police reports. The fire is believed to have been caused by a short-circuit, though an investigation is ongoing.
The deceased girls were identified as Astha, 10, Naina, 7, and Aradhana, 5. Their father, Daulat Ram, 32, sustained severe burns and is in critical condition, while their mother, Meenu, suffered minor injuries and is currently stable. The family's 12-year-old son, Abhi, was staying at his aunt's house on the night of the fire and was not present in the room.
The fire brigade was notified of the blaze by a neighbor around 3:30 a.m. Emergency services arrived promptly, but by the time the fire was extinguished, Daulat Ram and his three daughters had been rushed to the hospital, where the girls were pronounced dead on arrival.
