Shimla, a city known for its chilly winters and snow-filled Januarys, is currently experiencing unusually warm weather. On Saturday, January 4, 2025, the maximum temperature in Shimla touched an unprecedented 23°C, breaking all previous records for the month. Similarly, Solan recorded an even higher temperature of 29°C, the highest since January 2007, when it reached 27.5°C on Republic Day.
