Massive Blast at Ordnance Factory in Maharashtra's Bhandara; Casualties Feared

A massive explosion has hit an ordnance factory in Maharashtra's Bhandara district, close to Nagpur, on Thursday morning. The accident took place around 10:30 a.m., and several workers are feared dead in the incident.
Rescue operation continues
The Defence PRO in Nagpur stated that rescue and medical teams have been sent to the location to take care of the survivors and control the situation. "There has been an accident of blast at Ordnance Factory, Bhandara. The rescue and medical teams are deployed for survivors, and rescue is underway," said the official.
Political Reaction
Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole reacted to the incident saying it was a failure of the central government led by Prime Minister Modi.
