Shocking Revelation in Pappu Yadav Threat Case: Arrested Man Admits to Political Plot
Pappu Yadav Threat Case: The arrested man in the threat case against Pappu Yadav, Member of Parliament from Purnia, admitted that the threats were politically motivated. Rambabu Rai was arrested from Bhojpur. He revealed that the threats had nothing to do with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which was earlier suspected.
No Ties to Lawrence Bishnoi
South West DCP Kartikeya Sharma stated during a press conference that, after detailed investigation, it was found that Rai had no connection with the infamous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Rai had previously claimed that Pappu Yadav would be killed unless he apologized to Bishnoi, but the investigation revealed no such connection.
Political Motive Behind the Threats
In a twist of irony, Pappu Yadav, whom Rai had once actively supported and even posed in a photograph with years back, revealed that it was Pappu Yadav's own political colleagues who actually approached him to stage these threats. Rai said that he did all this for the purpose of the creation of an illusion of a perceived threat so that the security at MP was upgraded, and in return, promised with a leadership position in that political party.
Financial Incentives and Promise of Political Power
According to Rai, he was paid an advance of ₹2,000 to shoot a threatening video and an additional ₹2 lakh when the act was done. The disclosures point towards the threat being orchestrated for political mileage wherein Rai was manipulated and motivated by some influential persons close to the politician.
The investigation into this bizarre case continues, and authorities are working to uncover the identities of the individuals behind this plot. However, as of now, the focus remains on the political underpinnings of the threat to Pappu Yadav.
