PM KISAN scheme promises income support of Rs 6,000 per year. It will be in three equal instalments to small and marginal farmer families.
But the PM KISAN scheme is for those marginal farmers who have combined landholding/ownership of up to 2 hectares.
It is a scheme with 100 per cent funding from the government of India. In this, the state government and UT administration will identify the farmer families which are eligible for support as per scheme guidelines.
The fund will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Moreover, there are various exclusion categories for the scheme.
Also, the Central government paid another instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to support the farmers.
And about Rs, 19,000 crores have been transferred directly to the farmers’ bank accounts. This amount is also proving to be of great use to these farmer families in these trying circumstances.
The transfer of this amount to the beneficiaries can take a few days’ time. To ensure this, the farmers can check the PM-KSNY instalment, status, list, etc.
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM KISAN) scheme was launched to supplement the earnings of small and medium categories farmers.
This scheme along with the Digital India initiative has been able to reach the PM KISAN benefits to 12 crore farmers in India.
Those farmers who have already received the eight instalments, would not have to apply for the 9th instalment.
As they will receive the 9th instalment directly in their bank accounts.
Furthermore, those farmers who have not got eighth or other instalments should check their status on pm kisan online portal www-pmkisan-gov-in or via the mobile app.
