PM Modi calls HD Deve Gowda after he tests positive for Covid-19

Former Prime Minister and Rajya Sabha MP HD Deve Gowda has tested positive for Covid-19 with wife. He is a senior JD(S) leader from Karnataka.

The state is one of the eight ones reporting the most number of cases in India. HD Deve Gowda has served as PM of India from 1996-97. He is also a former chief minister of Karnataka.

Deve Gowda also thanked PM Modi for asking on his health. And expressed his gratefulness towards the PM for his concern.

Karnataka Tuesday reported nearly 3,000 new cases of COVID-19.
