Chhattisgarh Minister Calls PM Modi 'An Incarnation Of God For Tribals'

Chhattisgarh Tribal Affairs Minister Ramvichar Netam recently attracted much media attention with the words that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an incarnation of God for tribals. He pronounced the words while attending a function organised by the Chhattisgarh government to observe Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, or Tribal Pride Day.
Chhattisgarh Minister Hails PM Modi's Tribal Initiatives
Speaking at the event, Netam celebrated the leadership of PM Modi and said of him that he is God since he has worked to strengthen the tribal community. India is a land of incarnations, said Netam, adding that the focus the Prime Minister has been giving to tribal welfare is one with the shining characteristics of an avatar. He thanked Modi for his concentration on tribal matters, The Prime Minister, like an avatar, is deeply concerned about the welfare of the tribal community and is tirelessly working for their betterment.
Netam further said the work done by PM Modi is unparalleled, and no one would have ever thought that such gigantic work would be done for the welfare of the tribal society. He thought out loud on social media, The historic declaration of Rs 80,000 crore by the erudite Prime Minister Hon'ble Shri @narendramodi ji for the welfare of the tribal society is a revolutionary step. This was also Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, indeed marking the start of the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of the iconic tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda. He is called the Dharti Aaba (Father of the Earth), for it was by his sacrifices that he protected and safeguarded the pride and dignity of India's tribal communities.

PM Modi had also inaugurated, and laid foundation stones for development projects valued at over Rs 6,640 crore. Some of the projects involve projects for the upliftment of tribal communities and infrastructure in rural and far-flung areas. On the occasion of the celebrations, it was noted that India has a concern for its tribes. The statement made by Netam appears to be part of a much larger hue and cry over PM Modi's efforts for the cause.
