Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday released the 10th instalment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN).
He transferred an amount of over Rs 20,000 crore to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmer families.
As per the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the money transfer is in line with PM Modi’s continued commitment to empower the grassroots farmers.
Under this scheme, a financial benefit of Rs 6,000 per year is provided to eligible farmer families; this is payable in three equal four-monthly installments of Rs 2,000.
Then the fund is transferred directly to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 1.6 lakh crore has been transferred so far.
As per an official statement from the PMO, this comes with the government’s continued resolve to empower grassroots-level farmers.
This is how it will also transfer an amount of more than Rs 20,000 crore to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmer families, said PMO.
Here’s How To Check The Status Online:
You have to visit the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi website at pmkisan.gov.in
-Click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ tab present on home page.
-Select either of these options – Aadhaar number, Account number, or Mobile number.
-Then click on Set Data
-Download the PM Kisan Mobile Application from PM Kisan website or from the Google Play store/App Store.
Then the fund is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
