Police Officer Apologizes After Misconduct with Complainant, ‘Singham’ SP Issues Apology

In a shocking incident in Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh, a police officer has been forced to apologize after a police vehicle obstructed an ambulance carrying a seriously injured woman, preventing it from entering the police headquarters. The woman was brought by her family in an ambulance after a severe accident. However, when the family reached the entrance of the SP office, the security personnel at the gate stopped the ambulance, saying the police chief was leaving. So, the family had to carry the woman, who was in extreme pain, wrapped in a cloth, to the office.

The incident was captured in a video that went viral, showing the woman struggling in immense pain while being carried across the compound. The police officer engaged in this instance was hugely criticized for the lack of empathy in handling the situation. The "Singham" SP, Neeraj Jadaun, known for his strict actions, took immediate notice of the incident. In a video, he apologized for the misconduct and stated, "I am sorry." He promised the family that proper action would be taken against the police personnel and should not lead to negative opinion from the public about the police.

The incident happened after a follower in the police lines, Anoop, brought his injured sister to the SP office. He had earlier approached the local police station but said his plea was ignored. After the video went viral, SP Neeraj Jadaun promised strict action against the officers who blocked the ambulance and mishandled the situation. He also expressed deep regret, saying that in the enforcement of law, there should be some amount of empathy.
