Ghaziabad: Police Take Swift Action on Viral Video, Arrest Three Accused in Assault Case in Crossing Republic
Three individuals arrested after viral video of assault in Crossing Republic, Ghaziabad. Dispute over unpaid maintenance led to the altercation.

The Ghaziabad police from Crossing Republic station have arrested three individuals involved in a violent altercation that occurred on October 18, 2024. The arrest follows a complaint filed by the victim, Pradeep Gupta, who accused Roshan Jha and 7-8 others of assaulting him and his family.

Incident Details
According to ACP Lipi Nagyach, the police received information on October 18 regarding an assault in the Crossing Republic area. Upon receiving the report, the police located the victim, Pradeep Gupta, who filed a formal written complaint. Based on the details, the police quickly registered a case and formed a special team to apprehend the accused.
Arrested Suspects
On October 19, 2024, the police arrested three individuals at the gate of Sushant Aquapolis Society. The arrested suspects are:
- Shivpal Singh (36 years old), resident of Sushant Aquapolis
- Sarvendra Pal (45 years old), resident of Sushant Aquapolis
- Sunil Kumar (43 years old), resident of Sushant Aquapolis
Interrogation Details
During interrogation, the accused revealed that the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute over unpaid maintenance fees. When Roshan Jha, a maintenance officer at the society, approached Pradeep Gupta about clearing the outstanding amount, Gupta refused and allegedly behaved rudely. Following this, the accused, along with others, attacked Pradeep Gupta with sticks.
Police Action
Crossing Republic SHO Preeti Garg confirmed that a case has been registered under the appropriate legal sections, and further investigation is underway. The police are also looking into the criminal history of the accused.
