Leaked videos: Protests rocked the campus of a private university in Punjab’s Mohali on Sunday after allegations against a student surfaced of leaking private videos of other students.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has appealed to the people to refrain from any rumours. Meanwhile, a high-level inquiry is already underway into this incident.
Besides the state CM, other AAP leaders, including party chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal have also urged for maintaining calm in the state.
The girl student who was allegedly involved in sharing these videos online is now under police custody.

Punjab’s Higher Education Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer also urged the people to avoid forwarding ‘unsubstantiated news’.
Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains also promised that “no guilty will be spared”. The state government and police are working together to maintain calm in the state while looking for the real culprit.
Considering the sensitivity of the matter, all the higher authorities have asked to refrain from sharing any unsubstantiated pieces of news.
