Rahul Gandhi on Covid Poster Critical of PM Modi: Arrest me too

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on May 16, 2021, attacked the central government and severely criticized it for the arrest of the people over a poster. He was soon joined by Priyanka Gandhi and his colleagues.

The poster which criticized the central government’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis soon became the profile picture of Priyanka Gandhi’s profile on Twitter.

“Arrest me too,” Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, tweeting the same post in both English and Hindi languages. He also posted the poster which led to many arrests in the National Capital.

“Modi ji, why did you send vaccines meant for our children, abroad?,” the poster said.

At least 17 people have been arrested since the poster came to light in the National Capital. According to an ANI report, Delhi police have registered around 21 cases under the Defacement of Public Property Act & Section 188 in this matter.
