Rampur Shocker: Viral Video Scandal Leads Brother-in-Law to Murder Sister-in-Law in Gruesome Twist

Rampur, Uttar Pradesh (October 28, 2024) - A man in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur district has been arrested for allegedly murdering his sister-in-law after an intimate video he recorded with his wife went viral in their village. The case has shocked the local community as the details of the horrific events have come to light.

The Incident Unfolds

It all began with the incident of Amreen, who was 20 years of age, missing from her village of Bagrawa in the jurisdiction of police station Ajimnagar. Amreen had left her home to visit a shrine in the locality, and she never returned. The police found her hanging from a tree in the cemetery, so it seemed like she committed suicide. But she was murdered, showing all signs of strangulation, and the body even staged to look like suicide.

The Video That Started the Chain Reaction

As police investigated further, a chilling backstory to the crime was unearthed. According to officials, Amreen's brother-in-law, Matloob, had recorded an intimate video with his wife and later sent it to Amreen. Shocked and distressed by the video, Amreen shared it with some villagers, which soon made it spread widely. This is when humiliation befell Matloob and his wife in the public while also humiliating Amreen.

Angered by the insult, Matloob started thinking about taking revenge. As said, the relationship of the couple was not normal; his wife even told him that he did this thing too. The tensions increased the fire of anger in Matloob's heart and made him come towards revenge.

Plan and Execution of the Crime

Matloob tricked Amreen to the cemetery by telling her that he was taking her to meet a relative. According to reports, he took her there accompanied by a relative, where he reportedly bound her hands and feet before strangling her. He then hanged her body from a tree in an attempt to mislead investigators into thinking it was a suicide.

The Investigation and Arrest

After the post-mortem report, police authorities started questioning the residents of the locality to raise the intensity of their inquiry. Clues pointed out Matloob and his relative, both of whom were arrested after admitting before the police that they were involved in the crime. Both the accused have been remanded to custody.

The horrific details of this case have sent shockwaves through the local community, and officials urged residents to remain calm as they conclude their investigation. Charges against the accused are severe, and they are likely to appear in court soon.
