The BJP spokesperson, Sambit Patra, attacked the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who he accused of attempting to destabilize India's economy. Patra has argued that the opposition forces are busy in creating disturbances and affecting the nation's financial stability, especially by targeting the country's stock market and its industrialists.

Patra addressed the issue during a press interaction, saying, "As we can see, attempts are being made to harm the economy and target India's share market." He further emphasized that some forces within the country are intentionally targeting prominent Indian industrialists, aiming to destabilize India's growth and prosperity.

'Rahul Gandhi is Anti-National,' Says Patra

Labeling Rahul Gandhi "anti-national" regarding the issue of Adani, an ardent Patra launched scathing attacks, linking such actions of Gandhi to a number of foreign players, but specially George Soros, and Open Society Foundation. This foundation of George Soros propagates funding to spread stories that India has a weak position on its sovereignty. As Patra himself declared regarding the matter at hand and a French report that "the unity and integrity of the country are at stake.

Opposition's Protest Over Adani Allegations

The controversy over billionaire Gautam Adani has snowballed into widespread protests in Parliament, with opposition MPs demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) investigation into the allegations. Congress MPs, including Rahul Gandhi, were seen wearing jackets emblazoned with "Modi-Adani Are One," further intensifying the political row. The opposition is calling for accountability over the allegations against the Adani Group, which the company has denied, terming them "baseless."

Congress Criticizes Government's Refusal to Discuss Adani

Congress turns on the heels of the government, accusing it of hushing up the country's biggest corruption. "The government is not willing to discuss the biggest corruption happening in this country. They are refusing to even utter Adani's name," he said. He reminded that the matter calls for an investigation into which the Parliament itself has turned deaf.
