Sonipat Firecracker Factory Inferno: Three Dead in Shocking Illegal Operation Fire!

A tragic incident occurred in the village of Ridhaau, Sonipat, where a sudden fire in an illegally operated firecracker factory led to the death of three individuals. The blaze also left five to six others severely burned, who have been transported to PGI Rohtak for treatment. Following the incident, the fire department was alerted and arrived at the scene to bring the fire under control.

Details of the Incident

The illegal firecracker factory was operating within a residential area, reportedly employing around 10-12 workers. At approximately 9:30 AM on Saturday, a loud explosion was heard, followed by the outbreak of fire in the factory, causing panic among the local residents. People immediately informed the fire department about the incident.

Upon arrival, the fire department managed to extinguish the flames, but unfortunately, three workers lost their lives in the incident. Efforts are currently underway to identify the deceased. The injured individuals were evacuated with the help of ambulances and are receiving medical care at PGI Rohtak.

Lack of Awareness

Reports indicate that local residents were unaware of the firecracker factory operating inside a residential building until the incident occurred. The police have stated that a thorough investigation will be conducted to clarify the circumstances surrounding the operation of the illegal factory.

Ongoing Investigation

Authorities, including ACP Jeet Singh, have arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation. The focus is currently on rescue and relief operations, with further inquiries to follow to determine the full extent of the incident and hold those responsible accountable.
