Three people including a chemist, street food vendor, and a cab driver were gunned down today by terrorists in separate incidents. And this all happened within a span of an hour, as per the police.
Makhan Lal Bindroo, a 70-year-old prominent businessman and owner of Bindroo Medicate pharmacy in Iqbal Park of Srinagar was shot down inside his pharmacy as per the police.
The area has been sealed off and a search operation is underway.
Bindroo was a Kashmiri Pandit, he remained in Kashmir and ran his pharmacy even at the peak of terrorism in the 1990s.
After this incident, terrorists also struck at Lal Bazar in downtown Srinagar killing a street food vendor.
He was a resident of Bhagalpur in Bihar, had been living in Srinagar’s Zadibal area. This is the fourth civilian killing in Srinagar in the last four days.
In a series of terror attacks, another civilian was shot dead by terrorists in Bandipora. All the attack sites have been cordoned off, the police said.
