Stones Thrown at Kejriwal's Car During Campaign in New Delhi Constituency

In Delhi where the election campaign has gone overdrive, mutual allegations continue unabated between the Aam Aadmi Party of the ruling party and Bharatiya Janata Party. On Saturday, AAP made serious accusations against BJPs leader Parvesh Varma wherein his henchmen attacked AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal by throwing stones at his car.
Incident During Campaign
The incident happened during the electioneering by Arvind Kejriwal for the forthcoming Delhi Assembly polls in the New Delhi constituency. Sources close to the Aam Aadmi Party claim that the perpetrators who pelted stones at the Kejriwal vehicle were believed to be the BJP Parvesh Varma faction.
Accusations and Allegations
The officials in AAP have vehemently accused Parvesh Varma's goons for the attack on them, suggesting that they resorted to violence with the intention of putting an end to Kejriwal's campaigning efforts. "These attacks are a blatant attempt to intimidate our leader and derail the peaceful election process. We condemn such acts of violence and will seek justice for our leader," said a party spokesperson.
