Sukhbir Badal Attack: Narayan Singh Chaura's Wife Shocking Revelations, Police Investigate Motive
On Wednesday morning, former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal was attacked at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The attacker, Narayan Singh Chaura, who is also known as Naren Singh, was arrested on the spot. Now, some shocking revelations have emerged from the wife of the accused, Jasmeet Kaur, as she spoke about her husband's actions. She said that Narayan Singh had left the house at 6 AM that day, saying he was attending a memorial service at Sri Darbar Sahib. She didn't know that her husband would target Sukhbir Badal.
The police are taking the case seriously, and sources say that they will question every family member of Narayan Singh. Narayan Singh is a criminal with previous involvement in various cases. He has spent some time behind bars in several jails across the country, Chandigarh, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, and Ludhiana. Jasmeet Kaur, wife of the shooter, condemned the attack against Sukhbir Badal. She said that she never knew what her husband planned to do. She does not even know why he undertook the attack.
This is the latest incident after Sukhbir Singh Badal was sentenced by the Akal Takht Sahib on charges related to his activities in the Bargari sacrilege case and the pardon extended to Dera Sacha Sauda chief, Ram Rahim. As a part of the punishment, Badal was asked to clean the bathrooms and wash utensils at the Langar house. He attended his duties in the Golden Temple despite his injuries as he was, by permission, allowed to sit in a wheelchair.
