Terrifying Plot: Shooters Ordered to Scare Salman Khan, Appear Fearless on CCTV"

Mumbai Police allege that Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, ordered a gunman to fire shots outside Bollywood star Salman Khan's Bandra apartment to intimidate him. This action was reportedly part of a broader strategy to assert the Bishnoi gang's dominance in Mumbai for financial and other gains.

The chargesheet, submitted to the special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court, contains transcripts of conversations between Anmol Bishnoi and shooter Vickykumar Gupta. Anmol allegedly directed Gupta to fire in a manner that would frighten Khan and suggested he smoke during the act to appear fearless on CCTV.

In one conversation detailed in the 1,735-page chargesheet, Anmol Bishnoi instructed Gupta to ensure the shooting would scare 'Bhai' (Salman Khan), even if it took more than a minute. "You will create history by doing this job, and your name will be in all newspapers and media," the chargesheet quotes Bishnoi.

According to a statement from Navi Mumbai Police, the plan involved using minors to attack Salman Khan and subsequently flee the country. The accused intended to escape to Sri Lanka via boat from Tamil Nadu's Kanniyakumari.

This development follows an incident weeks earlier when two bike-borne men fired multiple shots outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where Khan resides. CCTV footage from the April 14 incident showed one of the men firing towards Khan's residence.

Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were arrested in Gujarat in connection with the incident and are believed to have ties to Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. A third suspect, Anuj Thapan, was also arrested in April but died on May 1 in the toilet of the Mumbai police's crime branch lock-up.
