Mysuru, September 2: In a surprising incident, thieves in Mysuru's Kumbarageri area made off with a Ganesh idol placed outside an artist's home. The theft, captured on CCTV, shows the culprits arriving on a two-wheeler, swiftly picking up the idol, and fleeing the scene.

The stolen idol belonged to local artist Revanna, who had placed it in front of his house. The incident has raised concerns as thieves, who typically target temple idols, are now turning their attention to those placed outside homes.

A case has been registered at the Lashkar Police Station, and authorities are investigating the matter. The incident has left the community in shock, with many questioning the audacity of the thieves.
