Three-Day Rituals, Music, and Cultural Events Planned for Ram Mandir Anniversary in Ayodhya

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has organized a three-day celebration for the first anniversary of Ram Lalla's installation at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The event includes rituals, recitations, and music by renowned artists.

Ayodhya is going to celebrate the first anniversary of Ram Lalla's installation ceremony at the Ram Mandir with grandeur. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has organized a three-day festival from January 11 to 13, 2025, featuring religious rituals, cultural events, and special arrangements for devotees.

Rituals and Ceremonies

According to Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Trust, preparations are in full swing for the anniversary celebrations. Over three days, rituals will be conducted at a specially constructed Yagna Mandap, where offerings will be made amidst Vedic chants. Entry to the Yagna Mandap will be restricted to maintain sanctity. Priests will perform 18-hour-long rituals, including recitations of Hanuman Chalisa, Ram Raksha Stotra, Aditya Hridaya Stotra, and Vishnu Sahasranama.

During the entire day, 3 pm to 5 pm, the musicians will present Ragas Seva to Lord Ram through renowned artists, and on this occasion, there will be Badhai Gaan.

Facilities for Devotees

Preparations for sitting, drinking water and other facilities, and information centers are all in place to take in the crowds expected on both days. Evening sessions on musical recitations of Ramcharitmanas and discourses on the life of Lord Ram as well as other spiritual pursuits at Angad Tila. Prasad will be made available to visitors attending throughout the event.

Updates on Temple Construction

The Trust has also furnished updates on the progress of the temple. Champat Rai informed that the temple would be completed by the end of 2025. Ram Darbar will be placed on the first floor and other structures are fortified boundary, temples dedicated to Sun God, Lord Lakshman, sages Vasishtha and Vishwamitra, Tulsidas, Nishad Raj, Mata Sabari, and Devi Ahilya.

About 2,500 workers are currently working on the construction, which also includes four gateways, an auditorium, a rest house, and an office for the Trust. The reconstruction of the Ram Katha Museum is also in progress.

Important Highlights of the Anniversary

The anniversary celebrations will start from January 11. There will be ceremonial bathing, or Abhishek, and Ram Lalla's worship scheduled at 12:20 PM. From January 22 of last year till date, on average 80,000 devotees visit Ram Lalla. This is how huge devotion towards the temple is.
